Open Postdoc Position
A
postdoctoral research position is available at the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson
University in the broad area of Wireless Communications, and
Security for Internet of Things. The starting date is
January 2022. The initial appointment is for one year,
with possible extension for additional years depending on
performance and availability of funding.
Required
qualifications
of the position
- A
PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or
other related areas from an accredited research
institution.
- Strong
knowledge in one or more of the following areas: wireless
communications, security, IoT networks, embedded systems,
game theory, multivariable optimization, machine learning.
- A
demonstrated record of publications in high impact
journals
- Excellent
command of English language as well as professional
communication and presentation skills
- Strong
programing skills in C/C++ and MATLAB
- Ability
to work collaboratively with faculty, and industrial
sponsors.
Duties
include
conducting individual and team-based research, publishing
conference and journals articles, contributing to the
writing of grant proposals, and mentoring MSc and PhD
students.
